The three finalists have been honoured for their remarkable achievements over the last year. Agyemang was instrumental as the Lionesses win Euro 2025, Littler secured the world title for the maiden time, and Perrin rose to fame with a record-breaking innings. Littler won the award in 2024 after his remarkable rise. The finalists were unveiled on a widely-listened-to radio show. The champion will be unveiled on the annual sports awards show on Thursday, 18 December. The ceremony will be televised from 7 PM GMT. Agyemang's Profile Age: 19 Sport: Football A mere three months after her first cap for her country, Agyemang played a dramatic and decisive role in England's run to European Championship victory. She was introduced as a substitute to score key tying goals in both the knockout stage games. Her incredible contributions led to her being named the best young player at the Euros. Afterwards, she was awarded the Golden Girl award for the top young European talent. She was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy for the world's best under-21 female player. Agyemang, who has been playing for Brighton on loan from Arsenal, suffered an ACL injury in October. "To be named a finalist for Young Sports Personality of the Year is incredible," said Agyemang. His success continued - his triumph in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he ascended to world number one for the very first time. At 18, he is the most youthful player to do so, shattering the previous record. "Being nominated for the honour once more is a huge privilege," stated Littler. "Winning last year was a highlight for me and I've had another amazing 12 months. I want to continue promoting darts." Perrin's Profile Age: 19 Sport: Cricket Perrin is one of English cricket's most exciting young talents and burst into the spotlight with an extraordinary and record-breaking innings in August. Her sublime 42-ball century in The Hundred is the speediest century from an England batswoman in T20s. It also stands as the shared third-fastest women's T20 century in a top-tier competition. Perrin came in second place in the batting rankings and was named the Professional Cricketers' Association's top young women's player.
